Giovanna shows off her full Super while her dog does cute dog things in Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive's cast of newcomers are already looking quite stylish, but Giovanna might earn some bonus points for her dog, Rei.
Arc System Works now appears to have wrapped their little preview snippets for Giovanna by recently revealing her full super Overdrive Attack plus Rei doing cute things while not actively fighting.
Like pretty much all of the other character reveals, Giovanna's trailer cut at the end before showing her entire Super animation.
The move itself is called Ventania, which translates to something like strong wind / gale in Portuguese, where the presidential bodyguard does a handstand and wraps Rei around her feet for a powerful spin kick — it kinda looks like Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick except she isn't magically flying.

ArcSys also published her round victory animation that has Rei looking excited and rolling on their back as Giovanna facepalms.
They also finally confirmed that you can indeed pet the dog in Strive, as the newcomer's taunt is literally just that because what else would it be.
It appears as though ArcSys have finally caught up to their previous character reveals, so the next character to be shown on the list should be Anji Mito before the final fighter is announced next month.
Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled to release on April 9, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC though players can access the game a few days early by pre-ordering the Deluxe or Ultimate versions of the game.
