Birdie can reach over 600 damage post-stun thanks to a unique V-Skill 2 setup in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition
Damage in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition tends to be high enough that characters are capable of defeating opponents with two combos under the right circumstances. A big-bodied character like Birdie is certainly no exception as he has his share of high damage interactions.
Recently, HDG|Younghou came up with a unique combo that looks to be particularly strong after securing a stun. Upon seeing this, Javits came up with an alternate version.
First off, you need to have Birdie's V-Skill 2 selected. Birdie's bubble gum projectile will be particularly useful for extending combos beyond what's normally possible.
Immediately after shooting off the bubble gum, Younghou strikes the opponent with a Bullhead special. This pushes the opponent into the projectile's trajectory.
From here, Birdie can extend the combo with a crouching heavy punch that goes into another Bullhead. With enough meter, it's possible to cancel into Critical Art. If you stunned the opponent with a forward throw, this entire interaction will deal 695 damage.
Javits' alteration allows Birdie to combo into multiple Bull Horn specials instead. While this post-stun combo will deal 658 damage after a forward throw, it gets just as many style points.
