Although a lot of the talk in the Dragon Ball FighterZ community has been focused on Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta and speculating how he might end up, there's another character much closer on the horizon, and he's going to be snatching our attention back very soon.

Bandai Namco announced today that they will be showcasing Super Baby 2's gameplay this Sunday, January 10, with a new installment of the Dragon Ball FighterZ Show.

We've previously gotten to see snippets of Baby's moves in his initial trailer, but there's still a ton of questions as to how it'll apply and work in matches.

Probably the most interesting part of his toolkit that we've seen so far is the fact that Baby can steal the assists of his opponent's downed characters by resurrecting them to fight for him.

It appears as though it'll work as one of his special moves, but we still don't know how they can be used, what the limitations are on it and whether he'll have access to all three assists or just the one the opposing player used.

There's also Baby's Golden Oozaru form, which we've seen a bit of, but he has an alternate version of his level three Super that changes once one of his allies have been defeated similar to GT Goku.

The stream is scheduled to take place beginning at 11 a.m. PT on Sunday with Tyrant and Damascus present to show off what all of his moves can do and how they can be applied like they previously did with Master Roshi.

Super Baby 2 is scheduled to release on January 15 though players can access him two days early if they own the FighterZ Pass 3.

Gogeta doesn't have a launch date yet, but we're pretty sure we know when he's coming too.
