Can these expert martial artists do justice to Mortal Kombat 11 combos in real life?

The internet just can't seem to get enough of these recreations of fighting game attacks and sequences by real life martial artists, and Gameology recently produced a video featuring Gemma Nguyen and Noah Fleder pulling off combos straight out of Mortal Kombat 11.

Some of these are fairly straightforward, but the game's more eccentric characters, such as the Joker, rock attacks that are actually kind of awkward to try to perform in real life.

Both of these martial artists also spend plenty of time in the filmmaking realm as actors, meaning not only can they perform these powerful techniques with precision and good form, but they have a certain appreciation for dramatic flair.

We see them equip knives, staffs, and even a Shao Kahn hammer as Noah and Gemma bring to life strings from the likes of Scorpion, Mileena, Spawn, Sub-Zero, and plenty of other kombatants.

Those of us who are especially into fighting games like MK11 are well aware of how characters can often go through slightly glitchy movements in subtle ways when performing certain attacks, and these two performers pick up on things like that right away as they have to consider every nuance when recreating.

This is interesting on multiple levels as we get to observe very talented displays of athleticism, but also some showmanship and improvisational creativity.
