An official full length Dan trailer for Season 5 of Street Fighter 5 dropped this evening, after the Capcom Pro Tour 2020 Season Final wrapped up.

Dan is the first character of Season 5 of Street Fighter 5. He'll be followed by Rose, Oro, Akira and a mystery 5th character who's identity hasn't been revealed, yet. Eleven is also a playable character, kind of, in Season 5, which has launched today. Eleven is basically another form of random select.

Dan brings some unique features to the fold this time around, with a one bar V-Trigger and variety of V-Skill cancels.

The Season 5 patch is currently downloadable on Steam and it weighs in at over 27 gigabytes, and comes with a number of new costumes and features, including the defensive mechanic V-Shift.

This patch will bring a bevy of balance adjustments as well, which players are currently exploring in training mode. Some unexpected bugs have also surfaced for players who have seemingly downloaded a partial and not full update to the game.

As of the time of this writing, the SF5 servers are scheduled to be down for another three and a half hours, coming back online around 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 a.m. Eastern, United States time.

Check out the Dan trailer below, and stay tuned as we offer tons of coverage for the latest update to the game.
