I-No revealed for Guilty Gear Strive
At long last, Guilty Gear Strive's 15th and final launch character has been revealed. I-No the time-travelling musician will be a playable character in Guilty Gear Strive.
This means that Guilty Gear Strive's launch roster will be Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Potemkin, Faust, Chipp Zanuff, Millia Rage, Zato-1, Leo Whitefang, Nagoriyuki, Giovanna, Ramlethal Valentine, Anji Mito and I-No.
I-No made her debut as the boss of Guilty Gear XX. She was also playable in the same game, Guilty Gear Xrd Sign and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator.
As I-No is a musician, she has traditionally fought using a guitar. Because of this, many of her special names have musical inspirations behind them.
I-No's appearance in Guilty Gear Strive isn't too different from her appearance in previous entries as she once again has her red witch hat with a skull imprinted on it and a shoulderless red jacket.
Along with Raven and Jack-O, I-No was a servant of "That Man." For now, only I-No of this group is playable in Guilty Gear Strive, but we'll just have to see what DLC brings us.
Near the end of the trailer, Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske were both shown fighting against I-No at the same time. This either implies the existence of a story specific boss fight or some sort of unrevealed tag-team mode.
Guilty Gear Strive is slated to be released on April 6, 2021.
