Update: Guilty Gear Strive's beta servers appear to be live once again
Hopefully they're back up before the public launch tonight
Update: Arc System Works has confirmed their servers are operational once again. Original Story follows.
Many moons have come and gone as we've awaited the arrival of Guilty Gear Strive's open beta, but it seems to have run into a bit of a snag at the moment.
Players with pre-order or early access to the beta version of the highly-anticipated fighting game began reporting that the game's servers unexpectedly closed without warning, and now Arc System Works has responded to the issue.
The developers state on their latest Twitter post that the beta client is indeed facing problems connecting to servers that is making the game unplayable for the time being.
ArcSys is actively investigating the cause now though they have a relatively small window to try and get everything up and running again ahead of tonight's public launch for all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners.
Server connections and other issues are almost a given to happen in beta tests because that's the nature of what they are to see how their internal systems hold up under real-world activity.
We'll update this post once beta servers are back online, and we'll also have our own beta starter guide to get you ready to jump in tonight coming up shortly.
