At the end of the Street Fighter 5 Winter Update stream hosted by Capcom earlier today, we got a sneak peek at Oro's in-game model. He was shown performing one of his classic supers from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, the Tengu Stone.

After summoning multiple pieces of concrete, steel and a Blanka-chan doll, Oro the assumed a basic idle animation. Since Street Fighter 5 doesn't have powerup or install Critical Arts, we assume that this is either Oro's V-Trigger 1 or V-Trigger 2.

In Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, the floating objects will attack in front of Oro every time he performs a normal attack himself. Notably, the Tengu Stone technique was particularly effective for combos and juggles.

This first look at Oro's in-game model and animations also allow us to see his turtle in action. Oro's pet reptile serves as a way of handicapping the hermit as he must hold it with one hand during fights.

To perform the Tengu Stone technique, Oro has to make hand signs using both hands. For a brief moment, the turtle is suspended in mid-air while Oro does this.

Following the summoning of the stray objects, Oro will gently catch the turtle with his right hand before tucking it away at his side. This will leave only his left hand for fighting while on the player 1 side.

Since Oro is still a work-in-progress character, we don't get to hear any voice clips from Oro as he does all of this. Oro will be released sometime in Summer 2021 as part of the last batch of characters for Street Fighter 5, after Dan Hibiki and Rose are released.

Upon release, Oro will have three selectable costumes to choose from. Unlike Akira Kazama, Oro does not appear to be getting his own stage.
