Maxima announced for The King of Fighters 15 as the last member of Team K'
Although we weren't treated to our usual silhouette teaser for The King of Fighters 15 this week, that doesn't mean there wasn't a new character to show off apparently.
SNK revealed that Maxima will be joining the ranks of KOF15 as the final member of Team K'.
To the surprise of probably nobody at this point, Mr. beefy cyborg is back to punch people really hard since he hasn't really missed a KOF entry since his introduction in The King of Fighters '99 alongside his old pal.
What perhaps is a bit more so is that Whip is apparently taking Kula Diamond's usual spot in the group, which has us pretty much certain she'll be joining up with her original "friends" of Team NESTS in Angel and Krohnen (who totally isn't K9999).
This pretty much all but cements that K's crew is going to be very closely tied to Team Ikari Warriors and Team Rival for the new game's story, which will be interesting to see how they interact with the NESTS remnants as well.
As far as gameplay goes, Maxima looks like he has all of his tools from KOF14 back with his jet fists, wall slam and lasers, and that goes for his Super moves too.
