Today is a big day for new fighting games as two beta tests for two upcoming titles are going live almost simultaneously. PlayStation 4 and 5 users will be able to jump into King of Fighters 15 and the Dungeon Fighter Duel betas as both are running this weekend until Monday morning.

Specifically, the DNF beta is slated to run from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday, and the KOF15 beta is slated to run from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Monday (all times Pacific). Read on for more.

After almost a year of waiting following an initial trailer, we've gotten a whopping 10 character reveals for Dungeon Fighter Duel over the last three weeks. Said characters include the Inquisitor, Vanguard, Grappler, Berserker, Striker, Hitman, Ranger, Dragon Knight, Kunoichi, and Crusader, who was revealed just yesterday.

We already knew King of Fighters 15 would be operating with rollback netcode, but developers for DNF announced today via the tweet below that their game would feature the same:

The characters we're expecting to be able to play this time around for KOF include the newly revealed Krohnen, K', Meitenkun, Blue Mary, Ryo, Isla, Terry Bogard, and Antonov. This offers a wonderful contrast to last month's beta as that offered Dolores, Kyo, Iori, Chizuru, Shun'ei, Shermie, Chris and Yashiro.

If you weren't able to get in on the action back in November, you can read about the good, bad, and ugly of it all in our KOF15 beta review.

King of Fighters 15 is slated to release on February 17 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Dungeon Fighter Duel does not yet have an official release date.
