Krohnen and second beta test revealed for King of Fighters 15
The newest character for King of Fighters 15, Krohnen, was revealed at the Game Awards Thursday evening. You can see his reveal trailer below thanks to SNK Official.
This reveal was also accompanied by news of a second King of Fighters 15 beta test for PlayStations 4 and 5, during which eight characters (including Krohnen) look to be playable.
This brand new character appears to be able to manipulate and shapeshift his arm to become a myriad of different weapons including blades, guns, and even a massive machine-like claw. He is also able to manifest fire in some capacity, as we see him ignite his foe with one of his attacks.
He dons what looks like motorcycle riding gear as he wears leather a long sleeved leather jacket, black pants, and red wind shielding glasses. He has a somewhat tattered red cape around his neck, which contrasts nicely with his deep blue hair.
We only get a line or two of dialogue, but he seems to be the kind of young, cocky competitor we've seen more than a few times in fighting game history.
The aforementioned beta test is set to run from December 17-20, starting at 7 p.m. PT on Friday and ending at 6:59 a.m. on Monday morning. You can check out some screen shots from the trailer via the gallery right here:

Most of Krohnen's interactions happen at close range in the trailer, including the ones where he uses his gun. The one exception is his final attack with the massive bionic arm, which reaches all the way across the screen to dole out big damage on the opponent.
King of Fighters 15 is slated to release on February 17 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out the full trailer right here:
