While we don't think we can technically call it cosplay, the breathtaking work of body painter Intraventus is more than worth sharing with fellow fighting game fans as she turns herself into the likes of Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Super Smash Bros. characters.

We'll kick this right off by laying worries to rest and stating that there aren't any exposed naughty parts in the photos below. That said, save for the occasional wig or prop, Intraventus really isn't wearing anything but paint in these.

Editor's note: You may need to be logged into Instagram on your device to view these embeds.

We begin the showcase with Mortal Kombat's two most famous fighters: Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Intraventus' use of white contacts make these ninjas look especially daunting as they pose amid frosty forest and fiery temple backgrounds.

Next up is Crimson Viper from Street Fighter 4. The vibrant red hair may be the first thing to command your attention, but when you realize everything else is drawn on (including the glasses) you'll likely find yourself appreciating the more subtle details.

The Street Fighter theme continues with Rainbow Mika of Alpha Series and Street Fighter 5 fame.

Next we zip back to Mortal Kombat to see both Jade and Mileena. The former is against a green, mystical forest where it almost looks like she herself is part of the backdrop. The latter sees the ferocious fan favorite as she shows off her sais (and monstrous cheek fangs) in a temple.

Morrigan Aensland of Capcom's Darkstalkers is one of the most prominent fighting game characters in the genre (despite her home franchise not having a new entry in over 20 years). There are two photos here, and you can see the second simply by clicking the small arrow on the right side of the first.

We'll round things out with this Android 18 from Dragon Ball FighterZ, Zero Suit Samus from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Dante from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Infinite.

If you follow Intraventus on her Twitch channel you can see her paint some of these looks on in real time. If you've enjoyed what you've seen here, consider following the talented artist on her Instagram as well.
