Next Skullgirls character to be revealed May 6
The first character of Skullgirls' Season 1 Pass, Annie of the Stars, is currently scheduled to be fully released in May 2021. It appears that we may also be learning the identity of the second character from the Season 1 Pass during the month of May.
Recently, the Skullgirls Twitter account posted an image that depicted silhouettes of Skullgirls characters. In the image itself, it asked "Who's next?" It seems that we'll be getting the answer to this question on May 6, 2021.
According to the Season 1 Pass roadmap, only Annie of the Stars and the second character will be released within 2021. We'll have to wait until 2022 for the third and fourth DLC challengers.
Depending on how well the Season 1 Pass does, we may see a fifth DLC for the game. In other words, it'd be a good idea to support Skullgirls and the Season 1 Pass for those that want future content for the game.
Similar to how Annie of the Stars was released, the next DLC fighter will probably have an early access period. After some time has passed, they'll be available for a full release.
The Season 1 Pass can be purchased for $29.99. Alternatively, every DLC character of the Season 1 Pass can be acquired individually for $9.99. Remember that each character will come with 25 (or more) color palettes, a new stage and a new story mode.
