Additional Guilty Gear Strive arcade location beta test changes spotted by Rooflemonger

It's been some time since the Guilty Gear Strive public beta. Though it was unfortunate to hear that the game would be delayed until June 11, another public beta test is expected to drop at some point, most likely in May.

In the meantime, Arc System Works is hosting a location test at an arcade in Japan. Players have already begun spotting some changes since the last public beta test.

Rooflemonger has uploaded a couple of videos that has him talking about some of the changes that have been noticed in clips. For example, it looks like matches will be best-of-5 instead of best-of-3.

The change in the number of rounds likely has something to do with Guilty Gear Strive's extreme damage output. It appears that this change was made to lengthen matches without reducing the damage too much.

It's also worth mentioning that a player may now end a round via the Wall-Break mechanic. Previously, a fighter would not be defeated as a result of the Wall-Break's bonus damage.
