Why Rashid is STILL top tier, 3 blondes you should be scared of, and more; Problem X shares his Street Fighter 5 Season 5 tier list

We recently got to hear the Street Fighter 5 tier list opinions of RZR|Xian thanks to the efforts of Ryan "Filipino Champ" Ramirez and his Fighting Game TV YouTube ventures, and now we're getting the thoughts yet another Evo champ as it's Europe's Benjamin "Mouz|Problem X" Simon turn in the spotlight.

The top M. Bison player on the planet sat down with Champ for a live stream session recently during which they hammered out a character ordering for SF5's updated Season 5 meta, detailing which fighters are likely among the best as well as which seem to stand little chance of consistent victory.

While we're always happy to see top player opinions as final tier lists get posted up, being privy to the construction of Problem X's opinions as he and a well-informed FChamp dialogue back and forth is much more valuable.

The Evo 2018 champion doesn't have a ton of detail for every last one of SF5's 41 characters, but he does offer some very relevant notes on many of the game's more stand out figures. For instance, he and Champ talk about why the likes of Cammy, Karin, and Kolin will likely fare quite well in the new meta.

One might think V-Shift would hit a rush down fighter like Cammy fairly hard, but the mechanic doesn't actually work all that well against one of her most common attacks: EX Dive Kick. Similarly, both Kolin and Karin tend to dance around the dangers of V-Shift while boasting abilities that are especially effective in the neutral.
