Super Smash Bros. fans have been eagerly awaiting to see who will be the second character to join Ultimate's Fighters Pass Vol. 2, and we finally know when to expect to see more.

Nintendo announced this morning that the new character reveal for Smash Ultimate will be coming tomorrow, October 1.

The reveal itself will take place at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET and will be a short video presentation which is scheduled to only last around three minutes followed by a message from Ultimate's director, Masahiro Sakurai.

This smaller run time suggests Nintendo likely won't be providing a full character breakdown during the reveal as Sakurai has done with the game's prior DLC fighters which also likely means they won't be available right away either.

Looking back to the previous character and first selection for Fighters Pass Vol. 2, ARMS' Min Min, her reveal trailer also clocked in at around two minutes and fifty seconds in length, so they'll probably follow a similar pattern this time around too.

That means fans will likely receive a new CG cutscene reveal followed by gameplay highlights about what makes the new addition special / unique in terms of being a Smash representative.

Later that day in June, Sakurai released a 35-minute breakdown of Min Min's moveset and history in ARMS before she launched a week later on June 29.

Given the consistency of prior character announcements, the new fighter will mostly likely be launching in the coming weeks though the exact timing of it and the full breakdown won't be revealed until tomorrow.

Nintendo's been pretty air-tight when it comes to leaks regarding Smash DLC though there are some probable candidates we could end up seeing between Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes or maybe a new Mario rep to tie in with the series' 35th anniversary.

Smash Ultimate's first wave of DLC released on average about two months apart from one another, but this extended wait suggests it may be more like three months in-between fighters for season two which still lines up with the original timeline of releasing all six characters before the end of 2021.
