Newest Master Roshi trailer pays homage to his Tournament of Power speech for Goku and Krillin while showcasing new moves

Master Roshi will be releasing on September 16, 2020 for FighterZ Pass 3 owners. For everyone else, the Turtle Hermit will become available on September 18, 2020.

Going past the Dragon Ball arcs and into the Dragon Ball Z arcs, Master Roshi has mostly existed as comedic relief. However, he had his share of serious moments during Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power arc.

The newest trailer for Master Roshi has been uploaded by Bandai Namco Esports. Throughout the course of the trailer, Master Roshi can be heard speaking with Goku.

It is revealed that Master Roshi was inspired by Goku and Krillin, Master Roshi's previous students, to keep pushing his limits despite his age. This is similar to something he said during the Tournament of Power.

He also advises Goku and Krillin to keep "moving, learning, playing, and resting every day." Notably, the circumstances of this quote are less dire than when he spoke like this during the show.
