Street Fighter Rangers potentially being considered for Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid as nWay gauges fan demand

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid may be looking at adding some guest characters into the mix. A recent tweet from the fighting game's official Twitter delves into the subject of the Street Fighter Rangers.

If you're unfamiliar, the Street Fighter Rangers are Street Fighter characters Ryu and Chun-Li in Power Ranger form. They were added to the mobile title Power Rangers: Legacy Wars late last year, and there seems to be a chance that they could follow suit in Battle For The Grid.

Discussion about this prospect began when a Twitter user by the name of LegacyofSol sent out a tweet noting what their dream Versus game would be. A cross between Power Rangers and Street Fighter was their choice, and it was quickly noted that Legacy Wars has already made this a reality, but they tagged the Battle For The Grid Twitter account asking if they'd want to make it happen too.

The game's official Twitter account turned around and aimed that question back at the community.

"Community Question time! How would you feel if the Street Fighter Rangers entered the Morphin Grid for console?!" nWay wrote via the Battle For The Grid Twitter page. Unsurprisingly, fans in the comments are excited by the idea.

Not only do the designs for these Street Fighter Rangers already exist, but Battle For The Grid is a team-based Versus-style fighting title that has similarities to Capcom's Versus games. The transition would likely be a smooth one, if nWay were to go full steam ahead with this idea.
