Master Roshi's first extended gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ released

We don't have to wait until Sunday to get a better look at the upcoming fighter

While Bandai Namco promised to show everyone everything they want to know about Master Roshi in the Dragon Ball FighterZ Show this weekend, the company decided to give players a special look at his moves before then.

An extended gameplay trailer for the turtle hermit is now available which showcases almost a minute and a half of Master Roshi's move set and combos.

As revealed in his short demonstration yesterday, Goku and Krillin's master looks to be one of the most unique characters on the entire roster with his silly but effective-looking normals and lack of a standard Super Dash along with a Super that really shakes things up.

One thing they hadn't shown before is Roshi appears to have some sort of teleport special that puts him behind the opponent where he'll briefly flex and hit them from the back.

The lightning anti-air special looks to have a good bit of start up attached to it, but it also does a good bit of damage that can be followed up with a full combo by vanishing. It'll be interesting to see how the EX version of the move behaves.

While they've shown off pretty much everything else in footage, Master Roshi's other level one Super besides the Mafuba and his Sleepy Boy Technique command grab have yet to be seen in motion, as they're absent from this trailer too.

Master Roshi's full character breakdown and new balance update news will be happening September 13 at 11 a.m. PT which you can watch along with us here at EventHubs. The hermit himself will release for DBFZ Season 3 on Sept. 16 for FighterZ Pass 3 owners and two days later for everyone else.
