Earlier today, gameplay footage for Master Roshi in Dragon Ball FighterZ was shown off in a video upload. This was a significant step up compared to what was demonstrated for the Turtle Hermit when he was first revealed in a very brief trailer.

We also learned that Master Roshi will become available for FighterZ Pass 3 owners on September 16. Everyone else will get access to Roshi September 18, two days later.

Bandai Namco mentioned on Twitter that a dedicated Master Roshi showcase will take place on the Dragon Ball FighterZ Twitch channel on September 13. "Discover Master Roshi in a fully dedicated showcase and witness his true potential," said the Tweet.

We'll also be receiving information about the upcoming balance patch that the Dragon Ball FighterZ devs have been hinting at. More than likely, this patch will launch alongside Master Roshi on September 16.

Tomoko Hiroki, producer for Dragon Ball FighterZ, previously mentioned that the team intends to direct changes towards Z-Assists. The goal is to make it so that characters are chosen for reasons other than Z-Assists.

It was also stated that the team wants to improve upon combatants that aren't being used as much. This seems to suggest that we'll probably see more buffs than nerfs.
