Team construction is an essential part of team-based fighting games in the Marvel vs. Capcom series and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Building the optimal team isn't just a matter of selecting three top tiers.

Some characters just simply work better with others. For example, it's generally a good idea to have a character that's efficient at building meter paired with meter dependent fighters. Ideally, you want a strong point character, a strong assist, and a strong anchor in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

BC|LordKnight recently uploaded a video that has him critiquing teams constructed by his viewers. Notably, LordKnight is a player with a deep understanding of fighting games like Dragon Ball FighterZ.

First up is a team that consists of Gotenks, Nappa, and Krillin. It's noted rather quickly how Gotenks has to be the point character for this team. Nappa isn't exactly armed with top tier neutral tools so using him does require some work on the part of the player.

Next, LordKnight looks at a Trunks, Bardock, and Vegito team. Even the player that submitted this team acknowledges that there are some problems that can be addressed by replacing one of the characters.

Check out the video to get a better understanding of constructing a powerful team in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
