Throws and Krushing Blow throws appear to have a universal nerf in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
NetherRealm Studios provided an in depth breakdown for Rain in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate during today's Kombat Kast. During the stream, Rain's back throw and its Krushing Blow version were shown off.
Interestingly enough, Rain's back throw was shown to inflict 130 damage. Afterwards, NetherRealm Studios demonstrated that the Krushing Blow version dealt 300 damage.
Currently in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, all throws deal 140 damage without a damage buff. The only real exception to this rule is Shang Tsung's forward throw as it deals 120 damage and heals him for a little bit.
In addition, most Krushing Blow throws tend to deal 310 damage. Certain Krushing Blow throws will enable a combo, which means that they naturally deal less than 310 damage by themselves. A few examples of combo Krushing Throws include Spawn's forward throw and Shang Tsung's back throw.
Based on what we saw with Rain today, it's implied that throws will be receiving a universal nerf when the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate patch drops on November 17, 2020. Rain has never been a character known for having weak throws as a character trait, so it doesn't make sense for his throws to randomly be weaker than average.
Although 10 damage might not seem like a lot, it can make an impactful difference with multiple throws occurring throughout a match.
