The Dragon Ball FighterZ National Championships is providing some amazing regional action this weekend with the first round of competition throughout the world producing some great sets and moments.

One of the highlights from the first wave in round robin matches came earlier this morning where Japanese World Tour finalist PG|BNBBN managed to land a touch of death combo against his opponent, also a World Tour finalist, Maddo.

BNBBN's defense was absolutely on fire for much of the set which led into the situation in only game two where Maddo would try to get in with a sneaky Super Dash, but that wouldn't go so well for him.

The yellow GT Goku was standing there waiting with a big 2H to launch Maddo up before popping level one Sparking, and then they're off to the races.

Even after the nerfs, GT Goku is still a monster for extended combo strings, and BNBBN was able to keep it going for almost 25 seconds and pull out Bardock's assist twice before closing it out with the Super cancels into Kid Buu's level 3.

BNBBN would go up 4-0 over Maddo who would claw his way back to make it 4-3. Though their teams were quite similar, BNBBN was ultimately able to take the set in convincing fashion.
