Rain, Mileena and Rambo were recently revealed to be part of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate's Kombat Pack 2. Leading up to the big info drop, Ed Boon was leaving clues about what was coming to Mortal Kombat 11.

In total, the NetherRealm Studios creative director left us with four hints to unravel. Solutions to the puzzles were recently revealed over Twitter.

The first and third clues were hints at Rain's inclusion. It appears that the first clue was intended to be rather obvious.

"For those keeping score, this klue was pretty easy and a number of people figured it out," said Boon in regards to the first clue. "Queen's lyrics of 'Look up to the skies and see' was kleary referring to looking to the sky to see Rain. [This] did not require Sherlock or Batman to solve."

Although Boon previously stated that all the clues were pointing towards different characters, the third one was also apparently pointing towards Rain.

"For those keeping score, this clue was a reference to the sixth track on Phil Collins album 'But Seriously,'" said Boon about the third clue. "The sixth track is called 'I wish it would rain down.' Some people did solve that one.

The Mortal Kombat cocreator's fourth clue was ended up being very obscure. Apparently the image of Mortal Kombat's Kobra and "six degrees" was meant to be a reference to Rambo.

"This was perhaps the most obscure klue of the bunch," noted Boon. "Playing on the 'six degrees of Kevin Bacon' idea.

Assuming Ed Boon's second clue was pointing towards a different character, then it means that the Freddy Krueger hint had something to do with Mileena through process of elimination.
