Millia Rage's newly revealed idle animation in Guilty Gear Strive sees her take a stab at foes with her lethal locks

Wonder what Millia Rage will be doing when you're busy in Guilty Gear Strive's training mode looking up frame data and combo routes? Thanks to the official Guilty Gear Twitter we have an answer to this most pressing of questions.

We've been getting small snippets and glimpses of Guilty Gear's coming 2021 installment as developers have been releasing quick clips to keep palettes whetted, and the latest is the idle animation for Millia Rage.

The Russian character's enchanted and amorphous hair is one of her go-to weapons used for winning fights, and that theme stays very much consistent in Strive. Millia normally holds her leading arm's elbow with her opposing hand, but leave her alone long enough while standing and she'll extend both arms out before striking a quick ready stance.

Her scythe like hair now has its pointed end facing opponents (it was the reverse in Xrd) and that end extends out with what looks like a quick stab as her arms go out to either side. Though it almost looks like this could be a light attack, we imagine everything here is just for show.

This differs from the character's previous standing idle animation a good bit as she formerly would stop and stroke her hair with the back of her leading hand.

We also recently caught a glimpse of Faust's timeout animation wherein he actually dies... at least for a second. Be sure to check that out after you peep Millia's idle animation below. As always, be sure to let us know what you think of this gorgeous new game in the comments.
