Epic Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Shuma-Gorath beatdown proves that Angelic still has the scariest Lord of Chaos in the business

Armando "Angelic" Mejia, one of the best Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 competitors around and easily the meanest Shuma-Gorath player we've ever seen, recently pulled off an incredible single character sequence with the character he's best known for.

While streaming on Sunday the Arizona player found himself with two dead teammates, a nearly dead Shuma, no remaining X-Factor, and an X-Factor boosted Vergil as an opponent. Those who've played a round or two of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 know just how dire such a situation is, which makes what happened next all the more impressive.

Armed with three bars of meter and tasked with the near impossible feat of avoiding damage from a Vergil with swords out, Angelic kicks off the sequence by countering a level 1 Super with an immaculately timed grab.

The EVO finalist then proceeds to keep the combo going with an off the ground juggle into a gnarly corner beating. After hitting Vergil good and hard (an occurrence we're always happy to see happen) Angelic blasts his foe with a level one Super.

He shortly thereafter activates Shuma's level three Chaos Dimension, and puts the perfect bow on the comeback by using a Snapback to extend the combo long enough to land a final Chaos Dimension finisher.

The fact that Angelic gets more and more hype and comments throughout the combo (there's a bit of brief NSFW language) just adds to the excitement as he overcomes one of the most oppressive characters in all of UMvC3 with one that so few others have been able to make work. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments after.
