Top Menat player gets a taste of his own medicine after being KO'd from half health by crazy orb combo in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

FAV|Sako made a name for himself as one of the most technical fighting game players in the world years ago which helped him reach the top in Street Fighter 5 once Menat was released with her extended combo potential. He's doesn't have an exclusive trademark to pull off those combos, however.

During a recent stream, Sako ended up facing off against a Menat player named Ahosei, who showed the longtime pro what it's like to be on the receiving end of getting KO'd from half health with an almost 30-second combo.

After going down in the first round of their match, the prior Capcom Cup finalist and his Kage looked poised to even things up after landing a Crush Counter fierce in the corner.

Unfortunately for him, however, Sako had an uncharacteristic drop of the EX Shoryuken that left him wide open to the biggest punish possible — and that's exactly what he got.

V-Trigger 1 Menat still has the juice to get the job done, and Ahosei didn't miss a beat by going straight into it bringing out all of the fancy jump and walk up extensions to get the absolute max damage on Kage's cardboard armor.

Ahosei reached a 30-hit combo before even cancelling to Critical Art which ended up finishing at 45 and the win after about 27 seconds in total.

It's funny to see that Sako knew he was dead as soon as that DP whiffed even with his huge life lead and repeated that multiple times, as all he could do is sit back, laugh and enjoy his drink.
