Yamcha learns exactly how NOT to punish Broly's wildly armored lariat in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Broly's lariat special is a legendary super pain to deal with for his opponents in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and this interaction here is just further proof that attack is absolutely bonkers.
A recent video from a player going by DraKo84000 showcased Yamcha in an online match getting swallowed up by the lariat from behind Broly while trying to use his own powered-up signature move.
With Yamcha and Broly the only characters left alive at that point, the guy who was about to learn what not to do against the lariat managed to land a combo into Ultimate Wolf Fang Fist to almost seal the match.
As a final mixup attempt, the Yamcha player uses his EX version of the Wolf Fang Fist to pop up behind the massive fighter in a flash, but unfortunately for him, Broly woke up with the lariat.
Both attacks go flying across the screen at the same time with Yamcha in the rear. His attack proved to be faster and caught up to Broly, who promptly grabbed him out of the metered move and slammed him into the wall.
DraKo84000 simply followed that with a cancel into Broly's level three, and that spelled the end of Yamcha.
No one could have seen that coming though which sends everyone in attendance into hysterics laughing and confused as to what they just saw which you can check out in full below.
