Morry Evans' artwork belongs in an actual fighting game

That image of Sagat and Chun-Li is especially simple. The two fighters just stare one another down against a gray background, and yet I've found myself captivated and looking to find every last detail my eyes might stumble over as there's something about it that keeps reeling me in.

Freelance artist Morry Evans is clearly good at what he does. Sagat towers over the Strongest Woman in the World with a menacing presence that clearly communicates the fact that he can crush most opponents like a bug. Though Chun is dwarfed by this juxtaposition, she doesn't come across as helpless in the least... in fact, Sagat might be the one in trouble here.

The personality and emotion flow through this image uninterrupted, but we also get a ton of details that add to the grittiness as well as the overall aesthetic pleasure.

If it wasn't already clear, this is our favorite from today's smaller, but impressive gallery. Worried Hsien-ko probably comes in second for similar reasons, though that image does a good bit more to help your eye fully explore the page and offers a nice array of colors and potential actions.

If you like what you see here then consider checking out a previous gallery we put together featuring Evans' work. The Chun-Li theme is even stronger in that selection, but we're not complaining in the slightest.
