The Street Fighter community was hit with major potential news today as the recent Capcom data hack has reportedly revealed information about Street Fighter 6.

How much information? Mostly just the fact that it appears to be planned for both current and last generation Sony and Microsoft consoles, but those of us who have been paying attention to tea leaves in recent times can put together a more vivid picture of what may be to come.

Catalyst and I do just that on this week's podcast episode as we examine some of the changes that have been happening at Capcom along with old patterns, habits, and approaches to their fighting game development.

We also have some fairly hopeful and positive things to say on the Covid front as two vaccines have recently been revealed to have some reasonably strong potential when it comes to fighting the virus that played such a large role in turning 2020 on its head.

A total return to normalcy may never be realistic, but it might be the case that we're just a few months away from major events coming back at some capacity. We look both at the big picture as well as sample from our local scenes to survey where things are currently at.

Finally, PG|Punk posted his latest Street Fighter 5 tier list a few days back, and we have a good handful of reactions to it and what pro tier lists have been broadly saying about SF5's current state.
