Massive fighting game sale on Steam, up to 90% off titles like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11, Street Fighter 5, and Tekken 7
And many, many more
It seems Steam is going out of their way to grow the PC fighting game army over the next few days as they're kicking off an incredible sale discounting tons of fighting titles by substantial percentages.
It seems the platform has reduced the price of virtually all of their available fighting-related titles, many of which are 50-80% off. This includes the likes of games such as Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11, Street Fighter 5, and Tekken 7, but the sale is also chocked full of indie titles, older AAA franchise entries, and more.
If you've been holding out or on the fence about Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Injustice 2, or the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, now's the time to pounce. Think Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Dead or Alive 6, or BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle would make good stocking stuffer gifts for a friend or two? All three of those are currently marked down 70%.
Johnny Cage specialist TheKompetitor posted up a list of some of the deals that are likely of particular interest to members of the FGC. Keep in mind, however, that there are easily over 100 titles included in this awesome sale.
We've done a good bit of championing of Street Fighter 5 on PC over the same game on PlayStation 4, and would like to take this opportunity to restate that and encourage any of you who can make the switch to do so... if nothing else than for the load times.
We'd love to take full credit for sharing this, but we have to give a nod to SaltLevelsMax, FuchiJP, and SmokeRulz for the tips. Give the sale a look over and let us know how many games you're going to buy in the comments once you're done.
