Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 9.0.2 patch notes

Gotta Squash them bugs

Feels like it was just yesterday, but Minecraft's Steve has been part of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster for almost a month now with a third update since his release now added as well.

The Version 9.0.2 update is now available to download for Smash Ultimate, and Nintendo also helpfully released the patch notes to fill us in on what's different now.

As expected, this update is more on the minor side and only really targets some gameplay bugs amongst a handful of characters and stages.

Steve did see one specific change to remedy a bug that wouldn't allow them to jump with the control stick after making an anvil.

It was originally reported that the new update would contain fighter adjustments, but Nintendo later corrected that to say that they would not include balance changes.

Since there weren't any big changes, the Japanese page for the update says that replay data from the previous Ver. 9.0 patches may or may not work potentially depending on which characters were used.

If you're unable to connect to Smash's online modes right now, don't worry because it's probably just the planned maintenance that may take until 6 p.m. PT to complete.

You can check out the full patch notes for the latest Smash update below thanks to Nintendo.
