Danhilo's fighting game art sees some of our favorites in a particularly cute light

I don't think I'd mind seeing a fighting game with an art style such as Danhilo's as his exceptionally cute versions of characters remind us of the days of Puzzle Fighter.

There isn't a huge selection in our gallery today, but Danhilo's abilities are already apparent through his renditions of Chun-Li, Felicia, and Baiken. All of them are in chibi form but are easily and quickly recognizable.

While the term "cute" is absolutely appropriate here, the artist is by no means a one trick pony. The image of Darkstalker's Felicia at a casino table has a clear air of sensuality while Baiken fully convinces us that she's about to dish out some devastating damage to an unlucky soul.

Street Fighter 5 Battle Costume Chun-Li is pretty much just a cutie, but then Dan takes us in an entirely different direction with some very realistic art of both Chun and Noctis (who guest stars in Tekken 7).

The artist doesn't seem to be too preoccupied with making realistic Chun look exactly like what we're used to seeing in games, and goes with his own choices when it comes to things like attire and hair style.

That said, the image is beautiful and is a great homage to the Strongest Woman in the World. Peruse through the short gallery below and feel free to share your opinions on the art in the comments when you're done.
