SonicFox is officially in Skullgirls as a non-player character

Move over Mrs. Victoria

One of the most successful fighting game competitors of all time adds yet another achievement to their growing resume as Dominique "EG|SonicFox" McLean now appears in Skullgirls as a non-player character.

The young fighting game champion, who also happens to be a furry, posted footage to Twitter early Friday evening as we see them in full fox costume giving pointers from the background of Class Notes stage.

Class Notes is the go-to arena for training (Skullgirls is often recognized as having an exceptional tutorial experience) and it's usually Mrs. Victoria who stands near the blackboard and offers up the days' lessons.

At this point we do not know if Class Notes is the only stage where the blue furry will make an appearance, but we have to imagine it will become a substantially more popular choice than before thanks to the Easter egg bonus.

While SonicFox is best known for being a world class Mortal Kombat, Injustice, and Dragon Ball FighterZ competitor, they also hold an EVO 2015 side tourney win in Skullgirls.

The timing of this is somewhat poetic as Skullgirls has seen a bit of a spike in hype and attention recently after it was announced as part of the EVO Online 2020 lineup.
