Johnny Cage busts out his movie narration chops in Fujin's new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath

"Don't be fooled by his lustrous locks and boy scout attitude"

It's been about 14 years since Fujin appeared as a playable character in an Mortal Kombat title with Armageddon, but it's safe to say he's looking better than ever for his return.

To help set up his friend for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath's launch next week, Johnny Cage has now stepped up to provide the voice over work for Funjin's latest gameplay and story trailer.

Unfortunately, pretty much all of the gameplay featured in the trailer itself is taken directly from the previous big Aftermath trailer with Sheeva and RoboCop though we do get to see what appears to be some new story clips of Fujin attempting to take Kronika's crown plus some of his intros.

What helps sell the new video though is Johnny Cage bringing his "acting" talents over to the narration department with all of the cheesey one-liners you'd expect to talk about Fujin's lustrous white hair back to 'kick ass on behalf of us mortals.'

Fujin's return to Aftermath here also helps solidify some of his status in the Mortal Kombat lore by confirming he is indeed Raiden's brother plus brings back his crossbow weapon which Ed Boon had previously said was a mistake to include in MK4 back in the Armageddon days.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is scheduled to launch on May 26 with Fujin, Sheeva and RoboCop all joining the roster at the same time along with an expanded story mode, Stage Fatalaties and Friendships — which got its own trailer yesterday featuring special guest Mileena.
