Update: Summer Game Fest reveal showcase stream is now live

With the cancellation of E3 2020, video game developers have pivoted to move their big announcements for this year to a completely digital landscape with some help.

Longtime gaming industry veteran Geoff Keighley is hosting too keep these reveals coming with the Summer Game Fest with an announcement stream coming this morning beginning at 8 a.m. PT.

Yesterday, the Summer Game Fest platform was used to unveil what many had assumed was coming with the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remakes coming this fall for a true nostalgia trip.

It's unknown what is planned to be revealed during this morning's showcase stream, but Keighley has stated it's going to be one of the most important of the multi-month event.

The video presentation and interview is scheduled to last around an hour in total.

These streams are meant to come at regular intervals between May and August to dive into the big games coming this year and beyond with interviews with developers and more.

Streaming is being done on the Game Awards' YouTube channel along with other sites like Twitch and Facebook.
