2020 is truly an unprecedented time thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tournament organizers behind events like EVO 2020 really have no choice but to transition into hosting online tournaments.

The Keef Crew recently released a skit that hilariously poked fun at the reactions of WiFi warriors when EVO 2020 was cancelled. To "keep the EVO spirit alive," we'll instead see an online tournament commence this summer.

The WiFi warrior in the skit was initially calm when he heard the news. This came about as odd to the other individual as he was expecting a bigger reaction.

"I have waited for this moment my entire life," suddenly exclaimed the WiFi warrior. "No longer will I be confined to the chains of societal pressures..."

Needless to say, the WiFi warrior had a very elaborate speech prepared for this very situation. He appeared to be very excited about the prospect of competing in online tournaments with a modded controller and without a LAN adapter...

Mighty Keef managed to perfectly encapsulate the FGC's perceptions and memes regarding the WiFi warrior. The video is definitely worth a look if you're in the mood for a good laugh.
