'More awesome content' is coming to Tekken 7 according to Bandai Namco

Season 4 or something else?

Fahkumram's big release earlier this week officially marked the end of the announced Season 3 content coming to Tekken 7 though there may be even more in store for the game's seemingly bright future.

Bandai Namco released two new trailers this morning; one was centered around Haohmaru's release date for Soul Calibur 6 while the other was a recap video for Tekken 7's Season Pass 3. What's most interesting about them though is the press release that came alongside videos.

The final line of said press release sent out to outlets states "you can rest assured that more awesome content is on the way for both Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6" which immediately caught the attention of the community.

"You can rest assured that more awesome content is on the way for both Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6. Stay tuned for more updates!"

Soul Calibur's inclusion there makes sense considering there's still two more unannounced characters coming to the game after Haohmaru for its Season Pass 2, but Tekken is a different story.

As previously mentioned, There is nothing left to come for Tekken 7, so any other content at this point would be something brand new that we currently know nothing about.

Of course the biggest possibility that it could be is a fourth season pass for the game though it would be odd for them to tease something like that so soon after Fahkumram at a seemingly innocuous time.

Another potentially more likely addition, at least for now anyways, may be an idea that Bandai Namco has done in years prior with an anniversary update or something similar that brings in new customizable options to the game.

Something like that would also likely be free which lines up with the Steam Database page for Tekken 7 still lists an untitled DLC entry even after Fahkumram.

Whatever the case may be, it seems as though Bandai Namco will not be moving on from their successful fighting game just yet to do Tekken 8 or anything else.

Below, you can find the Season 3 recap video for Tekken 7 celebrating five million copies sold along with another year of the Tekken World Tour. More information regarding the press release can be found on Avoiding The Puddle.
