The news has been spotted with some pretty hefty rainclouds lately, but we have a comedic ray of sunshine to share with you thanks to competitive fighting game player Long "LPN" Nguyen.

The NorCal street fighter posted a video Friday morning showing how he's been passing the time: trying to master a strange hybrid of the bottle cap kick challenge and a snooty wine pour. His skills have ascended to the degree that he is now unequivocally unmatched.

Long displays a simultaneous mastery of both concentration and focus as he performs what might be one of the top five spin kicks we've ever seen. The balance and precision needed to execute a move like this requires not only practice but months of repetitive training.

No doubt that with this level of discipline, LPN will emerge back onto the tournament circuit as an undefeatable demi-god of a fighting game player and a reasonably decent sommelier.

We actually caught a glimpse of FGC quarantine practices from day four just yesterday, which helps us further understand the progression of what our community does when they have nothing to do.

We're both intrigued and fearful to see what starts popping up on social media should people be directed to stay in their homes for more than two weeks. In any case, here's Long's video:
