Samurai Shodown Version 1.90 patch notes released, Nintendo Switch users facing issues downloading update
Samurai Shodown essentially finished up its second season of content yesterday when For Honor's Warden joined the roster as the fifth DLC character in the game's second pass which of course came alongside a new update.
SNK has released the patch notes for said update Version 1.90 though apparently some players are having trouble accessing the new additions and changes.
The whole update itself isn't super expansive, as it mainly focuses on some bug fixes which happen to beneficially impact a couple of fighters on the roster.
Ukyo, Wan-Fu and Shizumaru are apparently the only characters touched by the latest patch where the sick samurai can now more easily land one of his moves. Wan-Fu, on the other hand, had a glitch that would cause his weapon to disappear.
SNK confirmed reports on Twitter that Nintendo Switch players in North America are currently unable to download the new update with the developers looking into the issue now. Unfortunately, that likely means players on the system won't be able to use Warden until it's fixed.
If you missed out on the gameplay breakdowns for Warden previously, you can find official videos here. The Version 1.90 patch notes can be found below.
