Check out this footage of Smug actin' like he won't get thrown... eight times in a row... for a perfect

We wouldn't go as far as to say this was a "legit round," but it wasn't a gimme, either. Pro Street Fighter 5 player Bryant "Rise|Smug" Huggins is known both for his top-notch skill and entertaining on-camera persona, but wound up looking more like one of his opponents usually do during a recent stream session.

Smug has been cooking foes with his G for some time now and has made something of a trademark out of using the character's slow, but insanely far-reaching command grab to style on opponents. Said trademark spawned alongside the phrase "actin' like you won't get command grabbed," but it was an apparently very hungry Smug who wound up eating all the grabs in this exchange.

Clipped by HiFight, we jump into the first round exchange between the Warlord-ranked Street Fighter personality and his Diamond-ranked foe, GammaSF.

We'll give some of the credit to the fact that Gamma is using Urien, a character known for having a particularly strong throw game, but that doesn't make up for the fact that Smug winds up getting snatched up no fewer than eight times without answering with any damage of his own.

After his opponent sets the tone with a few quick grabs right out of the gate, it becomes clear that the Capcom Cup competitor isn't exactly trying to play to win. That said, he is clearly trying to answer back with a grab of his own to get some offense started, which is what makes the fact that he winds up losing with a perfect so funny.

Check out the quick sequence below for a good laugh and then share your favorite Smug stream moment memory in the comments when you're done. Be sure to tune into his live-streaming sessions via his Twitch channel as more shenanigans like this are seemingly never too far away.
