Kirbcen's fighting game art gallery is made up of stunning reworked 3D renders

I recently came across Kirbcen's gallery of fighting game artwork. Although these are 3D renders that have been painted over, you can tell that a great deal of time has been spent on each piece.

One of the first illustrations that you'll see on his Twitter depicts Spider-Man and Dante shaking hands. This is clearly meant to pay homage to the Marvel vs. Capcom series.

I'm also a big fan of the image that has Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's King K. Rool tethered by a chained leash. Interestingly enough, it's Street Fighter 5's Birdie that's treating the Kremling King like an exotic pet.

There's also a crossover that has Mortal Kombat's Triborg facing off against Killer Instinct's Fulgore. When you really think about it, this is a concept that makes a lot of sense.

As a Kolin player in Street Fighter 5, I can also appreciate the shot of Gill's most loyal subject. The background looks to be about as cold as Kolin's icy heart.

Of course, we've also gathered images for King of Fighter's King, Tekken 7's Master Raven, Samurai Shodown's Charlotte, Darkstalkers' Morrigan, and plenty of Street Fighter characters. Check them all out below:
