Min Min's frame data in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is estimated to be amazing based on ESAM's analysis

Better than Byleth with twice the range?

We're less than a week away from Min Min's release in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as she'll become available for download on June 29, 2020. Despite being the 81st character to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's seemingly evergrowing roster, her playstyle appears to be unique for a long-ranged fighter.

Until she is released and in the hands of the players, we won't truly know how weak or strong she'll be in the game's meta. However, PG|ESAM recently released a video where he analyzes Min Min's frame data thanks to YouTube's "advance one frame" feature and suspects that the character might be strong.

As expected, Min Min's range is absolutely absurd compared to the rest of the cast. At one point, ESAM even comments on how Min Min's frame data is better than Byleth's despite seemingly outreaching them.

Min Min's up close kick attacks also appear to be fairly fast. Her jab kick looks like it comes out in 4-5 frames and looks to have a decent hitbox.

In addition to all this, visual indications give the impression that Min Min's attacks boast a ton of active frames. Spot dodging might not be the best option against Min Min.

Do keep in mind that the frame data highlighted comes from an unfinished version of Min Min that was recorded back in May.
