Ramlethal Valentine revealed for Guilty Gear Strive

After great anticipation we finally know who the tenth character in the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive will be as Ramlethal "Ram" Valentine was revealed today via IGN's Summer of Gaming event.

You can check out her trailer from Arc System Works below.

Shown during IGN's Summer of Gaming event, the main antagonist of Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN has returned to continue the fight, presumably this time for the good guys as she reformed during the events of Xrd as a whole.

Ram originally had no emotions of her own and no opinions or likes or dislikes, but thanks to the efforts of her younger sister and Sin (son of Ky and Dizzy) she starts to develop her own personality, wants and emotions.

She fights through two familiars referred to as Luciferos who carry greatswords on her behalf which she controls via them. In her previous appearance, Ram focused a good bit on manipulating foes from safer distances given her ability to maneuver her giant swords without touching them.

Given that developers are trying to migrate away from as much set up and okizeme play, we have to wonder if Ram will switch more to rush down this time around. That said, she does appear to be able to strike from quite a distance away in the trailer.

One also has to consider that Ram is the sister of Elphelt, another newcomer in the previous Guilty Gear entry, and so we may perhaps be seeing her join the roster as well in the future.

Check out Ram's character trailer (which indicates that the next character reveal is coming this August) as well as a handful of still images below and share in the comments your reactions and thoughts.
