Where does Min Min sit on the tier lists one month after her launch in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

Min Min and the entire Version 8.0.0 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been in the hands of players now for nearly a month though much debate is still raging as to who came out the best from the changes.

Some Pro players like PG|ESAM and Liquid|Dabuz recently ranked the new ARMS fighter to be among the top tiers in Ultimate now, but how does a wider look at the players reflect their feelings towards her toolset?

Taking a look at our own community tier lists for Smash Ultimate reveals a much different picture for the noodle shop star, however, as Min Min is ranked over half way down the massive roster at 43rd overall.

That puts her just above the previous DLC character in Byleth, who was more lukewarmly received by the competitive community, where she sits with only 18 favorable match ups compared to 35 unfavorable ones.

Min Min's best match ups unsurprisingly come from some of the weaker members of the cast like Dr. Mario, Ganondorf and Incineroar with many of them lacking the tools they need to effectively get in on the stretchy-armed fighter along with her ability to easily edge guard those who try to consistently recover from below.

Where she appears to falter most is against the speed demons of Smash Ultimate who can slip past her extended punches with Pikachu and Captain Falcon rated the worst followed by others like Joker.

Taking a broader look at the EventHubs community tier list as a whole shows upwards momentum for those characters who did see some buffs in the last patch like King K. Rool and Kirby even though they still remain low while Terry Bogard has also raised up a few rankings.

You can take a full list at the current tier list below where you can also compare it to last month's for a good snapshot of the new differential between rankings. Remember, you can vote with your own match up knowledge in Smash Ultimate or any of the other games we cover, especially if you don't quite agree with where everything sits now.
