This is probably the biggest brain recovery I've ever seen for Super Smash Bros. Melee

Depending on the circumstances, recovering in Super Smash Bros. Melee can be a difficult task. Recoveries that auto-snap the ledge tend to be rarer in Melee compared to future entries in the series.

Tysk recently found himself in a tricky situation where a Sheik player wouldn't allow his Falco to recover back to the stage. Every time he used Falco's up special, Falco would be intercepted by the Sheik's Needle Storm special.

After about five attempts, it was clear that Tysk needed to change something or he was going to lose his lead. This simple strategy that was being incorporated by the Sheik user was continuing the thwart Falco's recovery without fail.

By this point, Tysk must've theorized that the Sheik player was acting on autopilot rather than reacting to the angle he was recovering towards. It was time for a big brain play that nobody could've seen coming.

Rather than directing Falco's Fire Bird up special towards the ledge, Tysk instead chose to angle it AWAY from it. Without reacting to what Tysk had just done, Sheik proceeded to throw another set of needles to intercept the recovery.

This gave Falco the opportunity he needed to make it back to the stage and turn the tables on Sheik. After escaping the hitstun from the needles, Falco then used side special to snap the ledge from the correct distance.

Needless to say, things did not end well for Sheik in this clip.
