RB|Daigo Umehara and Rohto|Tokido have a very interesting history with one another when it comes to Street Fighter 5. It tends to be a real spectacle when these two engage one another in first-to-10 sets.

During an era where Tokido was regarded as the overall best player in Street Fighter 5, Daigo was able to convincingly defeat Tokido 10-5 at Kemonomichi 2. This reaffirmed the idea that Daigo was unbeatable if he was permitted to prepare for just one player.

The two would later meet again at Topanga 2020. Daigo had been practicing the Akuma match up by relying on Guile's V-Skill 2.

However, much to Daigo's surprise, Tokido was prepared to counter Guile's V-Skill 2 and was able to render Daigo's preparation useless. As such, Tokido was able to completely destroy Daigo with a 7-0 victory.

Now it seems that Daigo and Tokido have recently engaged in yet another first-to-10 set at the most epic of locations — Street Fighter 5's online lobby.

Notably, Daigo has returned to basics with Guile and is using V-Skill 1 once more. Let's see how he's able to fare against Tokido's Akuma this time...
