Despite Tekken 7 not being part of the main lineup for the now canceled EVO Online 2020 tournament, a special exhibition was supposed to be broadcasted.

Bandai Namco has apparently been working hard to reveal something during this yearly event. Due to the cancellation, the plans for these announcements need to be reworked.

"I'm sorry that there is no longer exhibition matches for Tekken 7 at EVO online this year," said Michael Murray, Producer of Tekken 7. "The team has been hard at work on stuff to reveal at EVO online, and I am currently evaluating the best way to do that now. Thanks for your support of the title, and I hope everyone is staying safe."

Although Murray doesn't explicitly state that we'll be getting a Season 4 for Tekken 7 now that Season 3 has wrapped up, it does seem like the logical next step.

Back in March, Bandai Namco confirmed that more content was on the way for both Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6. "You can rest assured that more awesome content is on the way for both Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6," stated the press release statement.

It's highly likely that other companies, like Capcom, also probably had some announcements prepped to be revealed during this time. We'll just have to wait patiently for the developers to figure out an alternate means of making these reveals special.
