Granblue Fantasy: Versus is coming to North America on March 3
Granblue Fantasy: Versus now has a release date here in North America. XSEED Games announced this morning that the upcoming 2.5D fighting title is set for launch on March 3, 2020.
Previously, Granblue Fantasy: Versus only had a concrete release date of February 6 in Japan.
This stylish fighter is being developed by Cygames and Arc System Works. It is based on the popular Granblue Fantasy RPG.
Versus will be launching with 11 characters, with four DLC characters making up the first wave of additional content. Gran, Katalina, Charlotta, Lancelot, Percival, Ferry, Lowain, Ladiva, Metera, Zeta, and Vaseraga will comprise the game's launch roster.
"With the winds of the Sky Realm at our heels and 11 launch fighters waiting with baited breath, #GranblueFantasy: Versus will soon soar onto the fighting game stage worldwide!" the XSEED Games Twitter said. "⚔️💥Please welcome #GBVS to North America on 3.03.2020!⚔️💥"
Accompanying the tweet was a new trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Versus that gives fans a quick glimpse at each of the launch characters. We also get to hear the English voices for everyone on the initial cast.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and comes in both a standard and premium edition. The latter will run you $79.99 USD, and will include a key to redeem content in the mobile game, an art book, soundtrack, a PS4 theme and avatar set, a Color Pack DLC, and a premium box with exclusive artwork.
The standard can, of course, be purchased for $59.99. Both are available for pre-order now.
