Ultra Instinct Goku has been a character long rumored to join the ranks of Dragon Ball FighterZ, and now we know for sure when to expect to see him in action for the first time.

Bandai Namco revealed Ultra Instinct Goku's official character portrait this morning via their Twitter account while also telling fans to tune in during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals next month to learn more about the transformed Saiyan.

The company doesn't specify what day exactly we should probably expect to see UI Goku's trailer though the World Tour Finals itself is taking place February 8–9.

This also marks the first time that Bandai Namco has acknowledged the upcoming DLC character themselves since our only previous confirmation was from one page in a Japanese magazine last week.

Many signs pointed towards the existence of a third season of DLC coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ, and now we know for sure that is the case though we don't know just how big it will be.

Back in 2019, Bandai Namco did something similar by teasing Jiren's inclusion prior to the first World Tour Finals before fully showcasing both he and Videl during the event.

Data had previously been discovered in the game's files suggesting a new Dramatic Finish scene was going to be added to the game featuring Goku, Frieza and Jiren, and it appears as though that'll likely come with Ultra Instinct Goku's release.

There's also been a bit of a conspiracy theory floating around the DBFZ community for a while now that suggests Season 3 might include six characters in total going off of the missing number of Z Stamps there currently are in the title.

Season 1 ended up with eight characters in total though Season 2 did feature six including Jiren, Videl, GT Goku, Janemba, Gogeta and Super Broly.
